Billian Meatloaf

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chuck

  • 1 pound ground veal

  • 1 pound ground pork

  • 4 large eggs

  • 2 cups Italian seasoned breadcrumbs

  • 2 cups of grated parmesan cheese

  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped

  • 2½ teaspoons of Lawry’s seasoned salt, or to taste

  • 1½–2 teaspoons of Lawry’s seasoned pepper, or to taste

  • 1–2 teaspoons dried oregano, or to taste

  • 1–2 teaspoons dried basil, or to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the Meats
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chuck, veal, and pork.

  2. Add Ingredients
Add the chopped onion, seasoned breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, eggs, and all seasonings.

  3. Mix Gently
Using your hands, mix until just combined. Do not overmix, as this will make the meatloaf overly dense.

  4. Place in the meatloaf pans
Shape the mixture into the shape of the pan and place it in a gently greased pan.

  5. Cook in oven

Set your oven to 350 degrees and cook a 3-pound meatloaf for 85 minutes, cook a 1-pound meatloaf for 45 minutes depending on the size of the loaves you create. The important measure is the internal temperature, not simply the cooking time. Cook until the center reaches 160 degrees.

  1. Dress the meatloaf

  2. Bake the meatloaf until it is nearly finished.

  3. Spread a generous layer of marinara sauce over the top.

  4. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.

  5. Return to the oven for about 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and lightly browned.

  6. Serve and Enjoy
