Hanky Panks

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ground chuck

  • 1 pound of pork sausage

  • 1 tablespoon of onion flakes or chopped onion

  • One half a tablespoon of oregano

  • One half a tablespoon of garlic powder

  • One pound of Velveeta cheese [chopped up in small blocks]

  • Pepperidge Farms Party Rye
    Note: Ingredient amounts are approximate and can be adjusted to taste.

Instructions

  1. Brown and drain the meet

  2. Add all the other ingredients except the cheese and stir

  3. Add the cheese and stir until it all melts.

  4. Spread on the party rye

  5. Bake on cookie sheet at three hundred fifty degrees until hot and bubbly

The source of this recipe is Jack Eagan; a deceased friend and I make it as a tribute to him.
